Two New Ministries
Alberta TransportationThis Ministry is responsible for planning, building and managing the provincial highway network, the implementation of the Traffic Safety Plan as well as the administration of water/wastewater and other municipal infrastructure grants. It is also responsible for the Transportation Safety Board.
Alberta Infrastructure
This Ministry is responsible for infrastructure planning, and building and managing government-owned infrastructure. Other responsibilities include land acquisition, leasing and the administration of the Natural Gas Rebate Program.
