This on-line guide is designed to assist people in making trips between Alberta communities.

It provides information on scheduled inter-community passenger services within Alberta, as well as regular transit, specialized transit, accessible taxi and airporter services needed to access those services. Excluded are scheduled services meant to take people back and forth to work each day, as well as recreational and industrial services.

Over 100 communities are listed and shown on the maps, along with Bus and Rail services. An inset shows Air services. Services equipped for persons using mobility devices are highlighted.

This on-line guide is divided into four main areas:

Maps:

  • schematic maps of inter-community Bus and Rail routes
  • Air routes map
  • for city pairs only, typical Bus, Air and Rail trip times.

General Directory of Communities:

  • alphabetical directory of Alberta cities and towns
  • list includes: community name; carrier name; terminal location; and phone number
  • direct links to maps, carrier information, and accessibility information.

Carrier Directory:

  • provides (for all inter-community bus, air and rail carriers): carrier name; phone number and WWW internet site address.

Accessibility Directories:

  • features (for carriers providing accessible service to persons using mobility devices): carrier name; type of service; washroom arrangements; reservation policy; attendant policy; and phone number
  • provides (for all cities and towns, and for regular transit, specialized transit, accessible taxis, and airporter services): community name; service provider; whether service is provided to inter-community terminals; days and hours of operation; whether vehicles are equipped to handle mobility devices; whether advance booking is required; whether attendant policy exists; and phone number for information and bookings.
